Gallery ‘Iolani presents “Into View: An Exhibition of ‘Narcissists’” through Feb. 27, with emerging artists of the Millennial Generation — those born between the early ‘80s to mid-’90s.

The exhibit, curated by Erika Enomoto and Shulang Zou, includes work of 12 artists who “negotiate the contemporary art world on their own terms.”

The curators say: “This generation is defined as “deluded,” “narcissistic,” and “entitled.” ‘Into View’ endeavors to deepen the understanding of who Millennial artists are, what their concerns may be, and whether or not they embrace, reject, or otherwise feel ambivalently toward being labeled as “narcissists.”

The artists are Jake Boggs, Andrea Charuk, Jan Dickey, Jordan Harrison, Neilson Ishida, Alina Kawai, Laura Konecne, Kalani Largusa, Eric Ricky Allen Peters, Landon Tom, Lauren Trangmar and Andrew Yamauchi.

The gallery will be open from 1–5 p.m. Monday – Friday and Sunday; closed Saturday and Presidents’ Day.
